Huge lag when typing a memo for a transfer in wallet

What is the cause?

1. Secret surveillance?
2. Secret mining?
3. Anti-spam protection gone wrong?
4. The mechanism against key sharing gone wrong?
   Since using copy paste into the memo section saves the time and allows the same text. (regarding #3,#4)
5. Plain bad programming?
6. The connect.facebook library committing one or more of the above?
7. Something else?
