I have also noticed more memes in my feed and, sadly from people who's longer posts I enjoyed but who no longer write them. I can see they are earning more by chucking up a meme so they've obviously decided to go down that route.

I have unfollowed them.

Another one is steepshot. I am getting more and more photos with no description whatsoever.

My experience here gets more and more like my Facebook feed everyday. Except Steemit isn't deciding who's posts I do and don't see.

I wish there was some way I could filter out memes and steepshots. It's not necessarily people I don't want to follow but certain types of posts.
