I have heard all this before. I was a libertarian for a year or so. I did some research on economics and the current geopolitical situation, and decided it was a bunch of childish nonsense.

she would have completly agreed with you until yesterday when i spoke to her. She just came back from Italy, and the first thing i asked her about was if she finally agreed with me about the migrant problem. Her answer was yes.
the problem with not just the left but most most people in general(the kind that follow mainstream news) is just as you said earlier when you stated that I was the first "Trumpist" to ever openly accept that i might be wrong. throughout history numerous state run misinformation campaigns have existed around the world. Soviet Russia, Veneuzula, China, North Korea,Germany, are all well known for having these campaigns at various times in history. In the UK today they have media gag orders that are routinely issued by judges about certain topics and court cases. Even in the US they have these ( though they are rare which is why i woudnt say were out of control yet, but were getting that way.)
So please tell me why it is so crazy to believe that currently the mainstream media which is all owned by "for profit" multinational coroprations have a money motivated political agenda?
If you would have read the blog post I linked, you would have noticed that I read "Manufacturing Consent" by Noam Chomsky. It is widely considered one of the best books ever written on the subject of media corruption and manipulation.
If you really want to follow the money to where it ultimately leads, and in doing so find truth, I would encourage you to do so. I would lead you there myself, but I'm afraid you have already taken too much of my precious time.
