Meme War: Grumpy Cat vs The-Resistance

For those who don't know, there is a feud between @grumpycat and @the-resistance. In short, grumpycat flags users who use bad bots (for example, bots that upvote posts after 3.5 days). He then comments exactly why he flagged them to warn them about the bot, along with a recommendation on other bots to use (usually he points them to the steem bot tracker). So in the end, he flags with good intentions, since he is providing a solution to the problem bot-abuse. Sounds fair right? Well... apparently not to the-resistance. They think it's morally wrong to flag smaller users since they will be losing money.

So because of this, they had the "brilliant" idea that grumpy-cat should just upvote everyone who doesn't use these bad bots.

Yeah... that sounds really smart. And just for that "genius" idea, I made a meme in honor of the-resistance:

I think that is self-explanatory.

I would like to point out that once someone joins steemit, they accept the chance that someone will flag your content which will cause you to lose some rewards.

Look buddy nobody likes being flagged, but if you are that upset about it like @the-resistance is, maybe you should go back to twitter or tumblr where there are no rewards for content. You're tears will fit right in with the general populace there.

The thing is, @the-resistance claims to be helping the community... by restricting people from using flags? Once again, these are people claiming to support freedom by limiting freedom.

This reminds me of some "resistance" groups in the real world. If you think about it, they have the same mindset of (safety>freedom). In this case, smaller accounts being protected from being flagged.
