Yearning (poetry)

Tears fall in the depths;
sighs emerge from within,
the joy disappeared, my last breath was already given;
…right now,
when I take off my armor and undo my cold,
a glimpse of yesterday rests in my gaze;
a moan escapes the dwelling of Hades;
the darkness is my everything, the solitude my companion;
your presence invades my space, your voice becomes my echo;
your joy in my sadness, your laughter in my silence;
the world enjoys the illuminated spring,
I sink in the autumn of my soul,
in the wonderful twilight of melancholy.
