Breathtaking Success Of The First Meetup In Abuja.
For the love we all have for Steemit and the support from every steemian, eventually the long awaited first Abuja Steemit and Cryptocurrency Workshop was a success, a Blockchain event that was trilled by a lot of steemians from different states in Nigeria. This was the first steemit meetup in the city of Abuja-Nigeria, and I am so excited it turned out to be a victorious accomplishment.
The event started with a prayer from a newbie, I introduced the @abuja-steem community and my team that organised the meetup (@anjiba, @jacobite @chima @fatherfaith & @xpency). @mediahousent was the master of ceremony, he is so perfect at handling events. He introduced some dignitaries we had in the house as he gave them a warm welcome. we gave a survey of the Federal Capital Territory and how the idea of this event came up.
Presentations
We had presentations from the following people and topics:
@ehiboss - Introduction to steemit and Cryptocurrency.
@fisteganos - Content creation.
@gbenga- Staying relevant and relationships on steemit.
@ejemai- Steemit projects.
@nairadaddy- Airclinic and SMT.
@destinysaid- Steemit extentions and their uses.
@michealcj- SMT and Apiccs.
After every presentation, there was time for questions, a lot of steemians had very nice questions to ask, as this was their first time encountering with older steemians that were succesful on the steemit blockchain, the moment had to be maximized as it is hardly seen.
Interaction
There was time for interaction between old steemians and newbies, a section that gave the newbies opportunity to meet with older steemians to share their success stories with each other and ask personal question in other to improve their blogs and possible earnings from the steemit platform.
Games
We had some games to light up the event, there were rewards for every winner. Recharge cards were distributed to every winner to help them get internet for their steemit blogs, internet is quite expensive here, so we find a way to make it available for steemians that were present in the meetup.
Refreshments.
As the event was almost coming to an end, there were drinks to chill up our stomachs.
I want to say a very big THANKS to everyone that was present, I do appreciate your contributions, and people that were not able to make it, you are not forgotten, we hope to see you in the next meetup.
Even though I missed, I still applaud your efforts in making sure that the meetup was actualized as planned. More grease to your elbow brotherly @xpency and @jacobite

I resteemed this post its very important!
Imagine all 200 million Nigerians using steem blockchain, the price of steem will be $400 or more!
only 250 million steem tokens but 200 million Nigerians, so you can see there will be a mad dash just to own ONE steem token, just like with bitcoin
Thank you so much for the upvote and resteem, and yeah it's been a while, hope you are doing good.
That is the reason why we promote the platform, bring in more users for the benefit of us all.
was there live and direct and can categorically say that the event was packed full and well educative thanks @xpency for putting up such a meetup together i particularly learned a lot that day
