FIRST STEEMPH MEET UP CARAVAN

SteemPh Meet Up Caravan - BULACAN

The first stop of the Meet Up Caravan was held here in my hometown on the 17th of February 2018 located at the restaurant near my home named BAHAY NA TISA. I am fortunate that within my first month here on Steemit, I already met fabulous people that help newbies like me to learn more about the platform. Some of them really made an effort to travel for hours like @nijace and @oppaniayu. While @mikel2la1 and @markjason came after their duties.

This caravan means a lot to us. I am very thankful that I knew the couple @dandalion and @steemitph in a short period of time, so I got the opportunity to attend the meet-up for the first time.

SO WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

The meet-up caravan is to introduce the Steemit to the newbies and to the invites. Here, @steemitph and @dandalion told us how SteemPh started and educate us. They mentioned people behind all of this.

They were @deveerei, @dreamiely, @grazz, @luvabi, and @immarojas which I didn't know all this time. I am able to speak to them but I'm not aware about it.

I have a lot of questions in my mind that made me so confused about the platform but the couple did a great job to explain each of them that I do not have to ask anymore.

They discussed about Utopian.io, Sndbox, @steemnest and @artguildph and the witnesses. And even the importance of powering up the Steem to Steem power

Ms. @dandalion shared the things about Utopian and the translating projects/contributions she's doing.

While Mr. @steemitph told us about @sndbox. They were able to explain all the topics very well.
And about @steemnest, here they posted things for the newbies to serve as guides on how to post and what to post. From Introduction to Lessons.

They also explained the basic formatting, alignment, photo insertion, and links.

The meet-up also served as a motivation and inspiration for us Bulakenyos. Especially the outreach programs of the other @steemph communities. There's still no official Steemph Bulacan, but we are doing anything to promote STEEMIT to our friends for the community to grow.

We also introduced ourselves to everyone. Some of us, shared how they started and how long they're been using steemit. And I was surprised that some of them are professionals. They were @mikel2la1, @markjason, @enjieneer, @ninjace, @oppaniayu, @joninacalara, @dombaltazar, and @Nneljuu . I am sorry if I wasn't able to mention some of you.

And please vote for the witnesses.

After the discussion, free food was served. And ref magnet souveneirs were distributed.

I know that this is really the start of my journey here on Steemit. I am glad that there's @bayanihan here on @steemph.

I am looking forward for more events like this. And hoping that the future SteemPh Bulacan will be as great as the other communities!
