Steemit Meetup - Celebrity Steemian In The House

We had a privilege to meetup a celebrity steemian @danieldoughty who came all the way from the land beyond the wind, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He is also famous since our childhood time for his speed in running during a football match with his two fingers pointing out while running...lol, @castlemontallana will agree with that.

We had our steemit meetup at a luxurious hotel called 'The Grand Dorsett' in a place called 'The Living Room'. It is a cozy place for a chat with a choice of sitting in an open air area with outstanding view of the pool or the cool relaxing place inside. It used to be a pub called 'Fun Pub' and before that was 'Someplace Else', and now its a bistro, lounge concept.

We had a question and answer kind of session throughout the night with some of us drinking some light refreshing beer in a cool breezing night....so soooothing....lol!

@danieldoughty was getting questions after questions about Steemit and it was really an interactive session and that he manage to answer most of the questions bombarded to him. He gave us an update on what tag is trending and what we should and should not do. He advised us the most important thing to do is to get engaged (...not in marrying engage kinda thing), engaged and socialise with other steemians so your reputation can increase and be noticed by Dolphins or even Whales.

The other thing he was letting us know is how big this community will become, with future activities being planned and will be updated to all fellow steemians. All i can say is, it's gonna be a super duper FUNtasTICly Steeming ..lol. Can't wait for the announcement.

We had also a session where we showed @annamocha how to buy steem with SBD, we advised her not to sell it yet as the market was low at that time.

Then, of course the night will not end without pictures after pictures with selfie's, wefie's and waiter helpfie please...lol. Another fun and exciting night with lots of new information given and idea's to boost your reputation and get noticed.
