Expressing my view about Enugu meetup

To say i was wowed at the amount of people that showed up in My town Enugu yesterday is just an understatement. I was truly more than happy. No social media can do what steemit did and i am happy to be a witness. Sorry to say this but Nigerians finds it difficult to come as whole and achieve a collective aim (not that we don't come as one to achieve an aim but it is always difficult for us). No one was the boss at the yesterday meetup, we came together as one, discussed our experiences, our mistakes, welcomed many new comers, talked about the way forward, all these were done as equals.

Also, steemit is the only platform I've seen Nigerians being very happy to introduce a life changing scheme without expecting a return from the recipient. I'll simply say, steemit pushed us all beyond our boundaries. Guys showed up from distance that were miles away, in fact a very big thanks to my buddy @agbona that made it to the meetup at a very short notice. Steemit made a believer out of me.

I learnt a lot yesterday, though to the newbies, the words of @tojukaka, @ejemai, @nairadaddy, @theheralds, @gee1, @samstickkz might sound Greek but to me, they were like un-boxing an alien technology! According to @tojukaka, to succeed in this world, you need to give more than you receive and that's a simple concept that has been working for me. @samstickkz went very far in enlightening us about our "playground" and I've come to appreciate the blockchain even better. Also according to @ejemai, the community is all about creating "value". In fact, he said the word "steem" meant value. My jotter was filled yesterday, the information contained in that little paper is worth over 1000sbd!

I hope you've got a good internet connection and enough subscription, cause i am about to give you the pictorial proof of what happened in Enugu yesterday. This is just a tip of the iceberg.
