The Beauty of Steemit: Meeting Strangers and Become a Family

Steemit is so promising to be taken for granted. That is why, as soon as an individual hears about it and sees what it can offer, without a doubt, he/she wants to take part in it. Unfortunately, a lot of us will just quit in a snap. When we don't earn like others and attract attention like others do, we then turn our back from it. Let's always remember that there's no elevator to success, we have to take the stairs. It's never a problem to take one step at a time, what matters most is we're moving forward.

Taking a step forward means getting to know the platform. This is where the hurdle arises. Walking through Steemit is not easy especially for those who aren't tech savvy. Even reading the white paper can't be much of help. As its state for now, I can't say that it's user-friendly.

However, the beauty of Steemit where other platforms don't offer is to build great community, great family and meet everyone in one place. I couldn't recall a time when I met strangers just to discuss and learn about the platform. Nothing but Steemit.

As the saying goes that when it rains, it pours, it was indeed a blessing having these selfless speakers @itinerantph and @ninyea who travelled roughly 13 kilometers just to meet the newbies and pour to us the things that they know about the platform. Imagine spending your time, money and effort just to lend a hand to people whom you don't know. Of course, this wouldn't be possible without @jenesa who contacted these two amazing Steemians. Meeting Steemians twice in a row for me isn't bad, yeah? It's actually making me look forward for more meetups!

After almost 4 hours of discussion, Q&A portion, getting to know one another, I must say that it's a well-spent Saturday for everyone! These meetups are what we all look forward for especially us, the newbies.
