Basketball, the most common Sport here in the Philippines. Evertbody enjoys Basketball, watches NBA everyday and even bet and gamble for the best team. March 11, 2018 this would not be my last post not because of the @sndbox curation initiative, this is because the community is fast growing, and you would never believe who showed up early in the morning. The Chairperson of the College of Engineering, Engr. Roland Fernandez. The purpose of the event initiated by @jassennessaj is to gather #steemians and non-steemians, to promote and create a community. The good news is that the non-steemians are aware that STEEMIT is not just about blogging and earning but also community gathering.

3RD WEEK OF BASKETBALL INITIATIVE

There were new Steemit users who have gathered on the event. I only knew 2 people because I was the one who influenced them to join Steemit and be a part of this Community. These people are @calvinweigel14 & @venzam. You would not believe who was the very center of attraction on their game, and that is @calvinweigel14 . Most steemian recognized the Grandson of the late Mayor of Lapu-lapu city, especially the Dean of College of Engineering.

Engr. Roland Fernandez

I would like to mention our one and only Chairperson of College of Engineering. We did not invite him yet he knew that the gathering is a STEEMIT-community gathering. I was shocked when I heard that he cannot join tomorrow's game because the event is only for #STEEMIANS only, and I replied "no Sir, the event is open for everyone, for steemians and non-steemians" gladly he accepted the invitation and arrived early at the game.

These are the new STEEM members who joined the initiative mentioning @calvinweigel14 & @venzam . These guys did not introduceyourself yet, I hope this week they will be able to post for the payment of their Jersey.

Start of the Game

There were persons who did not attend basketball meetups because they were busy doing something. Although they were not in the attendance list, they will still be listed as a team and sizing for their Jersey. Especially Mr. @Sorenkierkegaard hope to you soon Sir!

UPDATES

Sizing of the Jersey for the players was never a Problem for us, the problem only is that the SBD to PHP rate are down, they will be using SBD for the payment. They had fun especially our Chairperson was in the game, @calvinweigel14 was almost the center of the attraction, and I hope this community will grow even bigger. The purpose of the event was successful, we engaged 5 non-steemians for this day 25 we're steemians and new steemians. There are new players, thank you for @jassennessaj for sponsoring the venue.

This is our 3rd week of the Meetups, I would like to thank @sndbox for upvoting 2 meetup posts of this week. I hope they will curate more meetups but I think this is the last of this day. I hope everyone had fun and also stay Fit & Healthy!
