Impressions from my 1st Steemit Meetup - @kaliberlin

Just a few lines about, my first crypto-meeting or however you want to call it.

So far, we were a bunch of creative people talking to each other, sipping tea and munching nuts.

I'm glad to have met someone who's sharing the same social content - and sometimes an entire vision of the world - face to face, which is not something you should give for granted nowadays.

There are loads of things I'm not aware of in this new environment, I have to admit, and these gatherings are such a brilliant way to get to know them.

Even though we're all trapped behind our screens, at least most of the times, this platform's future is in our hands. It's our duty to establish a real connection with people, to grow as an individual in the community while helping it grow as well, otherwise, the so-called revolution will just stay in our heads.

I want to advise everyone who has the possibility to attend meetups in his/her town/city/village, to get rid of some laziness and go meeting people for real. This platform was created as and still is a social network, even though somebody uses it in the wrong way.

Thanks to my friends @yoganarchista and @sature to have made this possible at their Psychedelic bookshop @kaliberlin, and thanks to @akashas - especially for the yoga session - @cryptonik @lichtblick @kult300 @asperger-kids @ovyvan and all the others who took part at the meeting.
