Steemit team Uganda is a new community of steemians in Uganda. The idea of beginning a new team of steemians was generated by @jaraumoses, @tesaganewton and I after running series of separately that never brought good results.

We used to make people sign-up but nobody took this serious. My old friend @jaraumoses and @tesaganewton have been carrying the work at from Uganda christian University, while I have been doing work in Makerere University.

At the end of last week we decided to meet and make the move that will change the result of steemit Uganda. We met at Uganda christian University and made plans for the new year on how to develop the steemit community in Uganda.

During this time we meet a few students who did not go back home for X-mass holiday most of them international students form Rwanda, and Kenya.
They will go and create an other communities in their counties.

We help the to create accounts and helped them to make their first posts.
They were very happy to make their first money in their introduceyorself post.

This made them very excited, now they are willing to do the work that will help them change their lives.

We want them not to do the mistakes we did, that for we gave them the tricks to use!
