UPDATE: Steemit IBADAN Meet-Up, Preparations, Venue

A lot of meetings and deliberations have been made and is still ongoing concerning the now-widespread Steemit meet-up to hold at IBADAN in Nigeria.

Thanks to @ejemai and the @stach project, the ideas for this meet-up have become plans that are now taking shape. The venue has been booked while reservatuons for guests are being made by the lovely @mosunomotunde while @jap5ve will take care of the live streaming to hold on facebook and I will live stream on instagram and YouTube, sonstay tuned.

Steemit is fast growing and is developing a strong hold in Nigeria. Hundreds of members are joining every week which has prompted the need for an organized organization to enlighten the #minnows about our community, it's goals and what we hope to achieve. It is necessary to guide them and help them #in whatever Way we can.

The meet-up is not for the minnows alone, as in the process but old and new steemians can mingle and form connections and bonds which really is one of the building blocks of Steemit and it's community.

The Steemit Ibadan meet-up has been scheduled to hold on February 24th by 2pm at Wennovation hub, 3rd floor, Alpha and Omega building at Mokola in Ibadan. So if you're in town you have TO BE THERE!
