Learn to meditate - It's really easy!
People often think meditation is complicated. Wrong! Actually, it is very easy. All you need to do is to decide what kind of meditation you would like to practice. You can choose a picture, a sound, a feeling or a combination of them. Now, create this picture in your mind and keep it there. Alternatively imagine a sound or a feeling (preferably a good feeling), and keep doing this for about 20 minutes every day.
This is the essence. No need for a religion, a belief system or a guru. Simply a visual, auditory or kinaesthetic imagery, or a combination of them. In the so called mindfulness meditation you simply focus on the visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, olfactory (smell) and gustatory (taste) experiences. Also, you can observe your breathing and your thoughts.
And this is all for now. Put the laptop away for 20 minutes and off you go! Enjoy!
