That is a fantastic phrase. Expectation can lead us to live in an illusory state.
yeah, when you expect something, you definitely give time to those thoughts while you expect a final result according to your calculations and imaginations. It is useful for making a good plan. But one must remember that the final results depends upon so many other factors, and specifically when other people are involved in that plan. So do your Karma, and stop worrying about the fruits.
