Very Good NOW all #kind #mindful Steemians,

Sometimes picture speaks more than thousands words. And it did, well at least @bewithbreath thinks so. The other weekend when @bewithbreath was jet washing the patio door a satori came .....WOW this is what the mind looks like before and after meditation 🧘🏼‍♂️🧘🏼‍♀️.

And science also backs it. Harvard affiliated researchers reported in 2011 (Ref) that people meditating are not just feeling better because they are spending more time relaxing – meditation really does change brain.

I remember Goenkaji saying - you have all the tools to experiment the mind within ourselves. Isn’t is amazing that science is catching up with knowledge and wisdom of 25centuries ago😊

Wondering what it says about me that I prefer the concrete with the moss and small pretty plants in there? LOL. And found the uber clean concrete a bit too clean and maybe sterile? LOL But yes, meditation really does change the brain structure, our physiological responses, our energy and (most importantly, I think) our emotional expression. Nice to see you bringing this content out to the wider world.

Same here. After all, the plant life is only natural. Then again, I prefer doing the dishes over letting animal life and bacteria take over. Perhaps because they are stored inside the house? ;>)

I love the little life lesson in the cleansing though. I guess we all love some kind of clarity, every now and then ;>)

Hahha...😃@vincentnijman - reminded me of eating in a plate made up of leaf only called “lapte” in Newari language...very tasty feast

Haha! That sounds delicious and like quite an experience. The only things that came close to it - in my situation - is eating from bamboo plates, here in Portugal ( they are colored and look like plastic though ). Was it banana leaves?

This native cuisine is very special in Nepal and hmmm...very tasty. I’m salivating already 😃

Yes, indeed. Neurochemical changes in meditators are kind of established & leading neuroscientist such Salazar have already shown it in many researches.
