Meditation is important to know what you really want in your life.
It also helps you to focus and be in the present and not to be in the future or in the past.
The best way to meditate is to recite mantras by keeping your eyes closed.
If it is possible it will be better if you could lit a candle and observe the candle flame for few minutes without blinking your eyes to get focus.
At first it will be hard, but with practice the duration will increase.
