I've been interested in learning more about this topic. At face value I know it seems like people are replacing an addiction with something else. There's so much I don't know about addiction. They were talking about cannabis on the news today and mentioned that 1 in 10 people become addicted. I had no idea, I was like there's no way this is addictive.
It has been said for years cannabis is not addictive, yet I have seen people have withdrawals especially young people when I worked in that field.
