I woke up this morning to check out some of the news links I typically read to learn that Oregon, the first state to legalize assisted suicide, has proposed a law that allows "mentally ill" individuals to be starved to death... mirroring exactly the racial hygiene laws of the Third Reich. This is the legacy of Roe vs. Wade- either all human life has value, or none does... There is no "gray area," as far as human life is concerned.

We tend to think about Nazi Germany as some isolated incident where jack booted thugs stomped around killing people who weren't like them. To a certain extent this is true, but their racial hygiene laws were a part of a global eugenics phenomenon. What they really showed was the results of political institutions being allowed to assess the value or quality of life... opening the door for an inevitable disaster. Moreover, the politicization of the medical profession only compounds the evil... and that's exactly what this breeds- evil.

We also have to remember that the vast majority of those killed by the Third Reich were killed by doctors as a part of the eugenics laws borrowed in most part from America- and now the chickens have come home to roost. In charge of these horrific practices known as the T-4 Program was Dr. Ernst Rudin, a psychiatrist whose "cures" for mental illness included starving patients- often infants- deemed "unfit" for life... and here's where things start to get sticky. Exactly what does the term "unfit" include? This is particularly menacing when you factor in the psychological aspect... To the Nazis, like the leftist ideologues in America, disagreeing with their particular political orthodoxy is a sign of mental illness- remember, it's the Democrats who believe that President trump is mentally "unfit" to govern.

Make no mistake, this has nothing to do with "quality of life." This is about politics and the politicization of "mental illness"... competing orthodoxies. This is about the politicization of eugenics and "race science." Just as the Nazis, the modern eugenicists are elitists. Dr. Rudin was a close friend of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood- the militant arm of the eugenics movement in the US. Under the benign sounding sobriquet of "reproductive rights" and "women's health issues" Planned Parenthood carries out the work begun by Rudin and Sanger (along with a host of "fellow travelers"). Rudin was a frequent contributor to Planned Parenthood's magazine before the war before eugenics was forced underground. PP was the driving force behind Roe vs. Wade- going so far as to browbeat Norma McCorvey into being an unwilling participant. If you want to know their real purposes, just look at where they have the vast majority of their "clinics"... in metropolitan areas with large minority populations.

The only thing lacking in the plan is a big economic upheaval or some other crisis and like the Jews, Slavs and others, Blacks and Latinos will be branded "mentally ill" and unfit troublemakers (and they seem to be doing their part to reinforce this supposition).

Whether or not you're aware of it, you can't get medical treatment in America without signing a waiver giving your doctor permission to assess your mental state. Under the Oregon law, should it pass- and who knows how far it could spread from there- if your doctor should find you "unfit", you could be starved to death. Here begins the slippery slope into psychological madness. Currently, one in every six Americans is on some form of psychotropic drug- and remember that depression is a form of mental illness. This doesn't even take into consideration the children being force-fed ADHD medicine. And if you think "it couldn't happen here," you might consider that Germany was one of the most advanced culture of it's day when the Nazis took control... a haven of technology, science and the arts. It couldn't happen here is what allowed the Nazis to seize control!

What this is all about is very simple- the intrinsic value of human life... and what's at stake is the soul of the country. Either all human life has value, or it's a political crap-shoot with a politicized medical profession backed by elitist eugenicists rigging the dice. The most profound consequence of Roe vs. Wade is that it determined that some lives have more value than others. Oregon has just taken one more step in the long march toward fanaticism. The really mentally ill in all this are the ones that proposed the bill and their supporters.
