Specially for @princessmewmew

German Chamomile have the following medicinal properties:

Very well known for its calming effects when you've had one of those stress full blue Monday's. We have all at some time been tempted into purchasing a box of "chamomile tea" by the local grocers or drug store at some point in our lives.. Let's face it, stress relief in the form of a cuppa.. what better solution to our stress!!

I feel that this herb is honestly not promoted enough for all the "hidden" healing potential it contains that simply goes un-mentioned to the every day tea-lover. If you already enjoy a cuppa a day of this wonderful herb, GOOD going! You are unconsciously healing your body without even knowing it ;o)

In a nutshell, it helps for:

1. Anti-Inflammatory
2. Anti-Spasmodic
3. Sedative
4. Anti-Histamine
5. Digestive,
6. Anti-Microbial
7. Diaphoretic
8. Anodyne
9. Diuretic
10. Emmenagogue

Because this herb is really under appreciated.. I am going to break this down to even finer details for you.. So that you can once and for all truly appreciate that cuppa a day ♥♥

Mentally It:
1. Calms tension and Anxiety.
2. Excellent for use on babies and elder children as a relaxant (personally for elder children I prefer Passiflora)
3. It promotes sleep and helps for pain, headaches incl. migraines, neuralgia, flu, arthritis and gout.

Urinary system:
1. Anti-septic diuretic soothing inflamed irritable bladder and cystitis.

Digestion:
1. It helps soothe the "colic" symptoms in babies due to its spasm relieving properties, incl. stress related stomach upsets.
2. Gas "wind"
3. Indigestion
4. Heartburn and acid levels
5. It contains Bisabolol which speeds up the healing of ulcers
6. With its anti-microbial properties it can treat infections like gastroenteritis.

Reproductive:
1. Reduces PMS pain
2. Nausea and sickness in pregnancy
3. Reduces menopausal symptoms
4. Relieves mastitis
5. Helps reduce contraction pains during labour

Immune System:
1. Reduces Inflammation (with persistent inflammation our body gets exhausted and cannot heal itself)
2. It contains Anti-Histamine, which helps for allergies
3. Actively fights against bacterial infections such as, Staphylococcus Aureus and fungal infections like Candida

I know this is getting long.. but hang in there ♥, I'm almost done peeps.

Respiratory care:
As a warm tea is used to treat fevers, flu, colds, infections, sore throats, tonsillitis and helps reduce broncho-constriction in asthma

You can also use it externally.. in the form of a topical body butter/cream etc..
With its healing properties it treats skin inflammation, eczema, nappy rash, anti-septic natural mouth wash and more!

I truly hope you find this article profusely use full and that next time you sit down with your cuppa chamomile you enjoy every morsel of it ♥ as with every sip... you are healing yourself inside and out!
