New research published now in July 2017, conducted by Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, has found that chemotherapy contributes to metastasis. It causes a sharp increase in cancer cells that circulate throughout the body.

In other words; Even though the tumor is reduced, the chances of metastatic proliferation are also increased, what one really wants to avoid.

This falls in the same basket as the research on diuretic drugs, which showed 82% higher likelihood of death among those who used the medicine. Where doctors and researchers reiterate themselves when it comes to solutions that are obviously working; "More research is needed", this means, in other words, the number of studies and technical quality of the studies, rather than revealing the reality of the quality of treatment.
