Rhodiola rosea - A Siberian medicinal plant
Rhodiola Rosea belongs to the family of the thick-leaved plants.
The roots of the plant Rhodiola rosea are used for medicinal purposes.
It is a very robust plant that occurs in the harsh polar environment
at an altitude of over 3,000 metres in the Altai high mountain
range in Siberia.
The plant grows to a height of between 30 and 76 cm,
