Yellow Pepper Salad: The Medicinal Gourmet cooking collective week 3
I am having a wonderful time being inspired by this fun contest by @eco-alex for #medicinal-cooking.
For today's challenge, its about earth element, which is dominantly the yellow color.
This pepper salad is delicious, packed with vitamins and nutrients. Consuming yellow peppers is good for digestion, due to the high niacin content. Proper digestion of food helps the body to absorbs vitamins and nutrients that is consume everyday.
Ingredients:
- yellow pepper
- garlic cloves (3)
- lime
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper
To garnish
- red pepper (cut in flower shape)
Preparations:
Grill the yellow pepper in a grill pan, turning from time to time until it gets charred.
meanwhile, chopped the garlic in very fine texture, and make the dressings by combining the olive oil, lime, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Once charred, cut them in strips and arranged them in a plate.
Sprinkle the chopped garlic around the charred peppers.
Drizzle your dressings all over the surface, and swirl the dish around to spread the seasoning.
This pepper salad is sweet and tangy, peppers are charred to bring out more flavour and easily digestible to the stomach.

Wow, I haven't tried grilling peppers before. I might try that one time. Seems like it would taste sweet kapag na-grill ano?
