Desteemed by spider bite
I was of the steemit grid for a few days because I found myself in hospital for 4 days and all this because a spider bit me somewhere during last week.
At first I thought it was a Mosquito bite and it did not bother me too much.
But then my neck (that's where it bit me) started to feel sore and swollen and I was feeling sick. Friday it got so bad that my son took me to hospital because I could not breath. They put me on a drip for 4 hours and gave me some medicine to take home.
Sunday it was really sore and it felt as if I had a small cushion behind my neck I could not lie on my back so we went back to hospital.

This was taken after I started with the antibiotics at home.
The surgeon then admitted me and put me on very strong antibiotics and pain medication the Tuesday they took me to theater and drained and cleaned the wound.

I still feel groggy but the pain and swelling is better. I came home today and my husband will have to take care of my wound they showed him how.
I am just glad it was not worse and that I can steem again, and be home again,
Watch out for those spiders! :-)

Oh st oh st, lucky there are no dangerous spiders in here.
Yes it sure is I could not believe that a bite could be so bad from now on I am even more careful of spiders. Thanks for your reply.
It is real, and I am glad that you do not have dangerous spiders where you live. I knew we did but I did not think it would harm me like this.
It looks really sore!!
It is believe me don't want to be bitten again.
