Day 1 Of Legal Weed
Today, October 17, Cannabis Stores have opened all over the Island.
Customers must be 19+ and have an up-to- date ID to buy marijuana.
I was at the grocery store later this afternoon and took a couple photos as I passed the Cannabis Store.
The lineups were long and many walked away to check out the store another day.
Making cannabis legal has been a big step for Canada and a lot of people think it is about time.
Weed became popular to smoke in the 60’s. Medical marijuana has been used to lessen pain and treat many illnesses.
It is up to each province and territory to decide how the drug will be sold and distributed.
P.E.I. will allow adults to grow four plants as long as minors do not have access to them.
Where to smoke? Only on private residences, with some exceptions for certain public spaces.

well might only be legal to smoke it in 2 countries in the world but with Canada on board thats about 10% of the earths land mass that its legal on now lol

I heard about that! We only have it here as medical not recreational. Only available in certain forms too. I literally just got approved for medical and made a small purchase. Will tell you more in discord. ;)

howdy there redheadpei! so this is going to turn Canada into a bunch of pot-heads? What does that stuff cost anyway? Do you ever smoke it? I heard it kills brain cells but I agree the medical uses should be allowed, I suppose the law just passed is fine too, I don't know much about it.

1 gram =0.0353 ounce. The government will have to keep the price acceptable or the black market will take the profits. There will be more products such as joints eventually. Supply & demand will dictate.

haha! oh I bet they did but you'd think that they would have a huge inventory because they knew what was coming today. So I don't quite understand that unless the government was limited their supplies or something.
