Hello from Negril Jamaica, home of 7 mile beach
Hi
I’m Beth Ploof, a registered nurse originally from Minnesota USA . I met my friend Donald Porter yesterday and he feels I need to be in Steem community! I came to Jamaica many years ago to see the lack of healthcare and decided to try to make a change. I sold everything and said goodbye to my two children and six grandkids to come down here alone. I started an independent Jamaican registered company and work independently(alone) taking hotel calls or pre-registered guests calls if they get hurt or sick. I’ve been down here alone for six years trying to cover the needs around the clock. Jamaican day clinics close and I take hotel calls and local apartment/home calls if I know where it is! Transportation is a challenge here using taxi service, I do not own a car but I am still the fastest and only hands on nursing service here! I am first call to most hotels here. I have an ambulance service here in Negril that I trust and use if we need it!❤️
This is my life. I try to walk on the 7 mile beach when I have time to enjoy the sea. When there is a reggae artist performing here, I will share photos or video!!
If you come to Negril, I will be here for you!❤️

I provide nursing services, collaborate with multiple physicians and services inside and around Negril. If you need transportation to a hospital outside this town I will assist to make a plan get you to a higher level of care and where you need to go for proper care. I am YOUR advocate here.
Welcome Nurse Beth 🙌🏽
Great post, glad to have you with us! This was actually good enough for the introduction post (‘introduceyourself’ tag). I’ll give you call this afternoon to go over your med services and our ReggaeSteem travelers booked for Negril.
PS: We have a team of ambassadors and ~100 chat members who can assist you with Steem and ReggaeSteem, please join us in our Official Discord chat: https://discord.gg/UQNT9as

Great to know and welcome to Reggaesteem Beth. Hope that if we meet down there neither of us are on call. 😸
Wonderful !! So awesome!! Great to have you! Healthcare access, accommodation, and availability are serious issues, not only in Jamaica, but many regions around the globe (even well developed countries like the US).
So amazing that you have made such a priority to help and care for those of less fortune than you. Also glad you have met our great friend @donald.porter
We are grateful to have nurse Beth join the reggaesteem community
So much RESPECT 🙏🏼

Hello @nursebethploof
This is a fantastic story.
I really liked reading you.
To know about this enterprise that you have had in Jamaica, very few people dare to do that. I am very happy that you can be practicing your profession and helping many people.
Blessings.
Welcome @nursebethploof to the Steem and particularly the Reggaesteem communities. Looking forward to seeing your posts. My best advice is to ask questions, and don't be afraid to comment on other peoples posts.
Have fun, it's great to meet you. I have sent to you a couple of delegations to help you get started. 20 Steem Power to make sure you can comment and vote without a problem, and 2000 JAHM, so when you do vote on Reggaesteem, you can give a little reward to the people you vote on. If you need any help, just ask and one of us will be around.
JK.
