HAPPY IT'S CHIRO DAY TODAY

in #medical6 years ago

Every now and then I have Chiropractor day to ease my back pain and have a service. It's a quick in and out and has become one of my trusted friends. It lasts for 30 minutes and will last me another 6 to 8 weeks, maybe longer.

The good thing about having a relationship with your specialist is sometimes I just need a reset and I can do it myself but sometimes it won't just go. I can phone him and I am in and out within 2 to 3 minutes. If I am having a slight issue with pain then I will get the last appointment of the day and I will have an extended treatment to rest and align.

There is always lots of laughter and jovial banter as his preferred tools that he uses look more like giant metal dildo's and door knobs. The dildo is my favorite as it digs into the seized muscles. If it is bad I will have acupuncture at the same time and it helps relieve the pain and stiffness quite quickly.

The best part is my medical aid covers it all and is like a 5 star massage with a bit of bone crunching thrown in. This is the way I have to operate these days after my disc went and collapsed towards my spine. I still blame the hospital for that though and have written about my thoughts on that one. You pop in for an op on your Achilles and hobble out with a life changing back issue.

That is what happens when you blindly trust the ones that look after you to do just that.

howdy sir cryptoandcoffee! I love good chiropractors, they're amazing. I'm glad you found a good one but is the chiropractor the one who also does the acupuncture ? I didn't know they did that.
Yeah you should have been able to be compensated millions for what they did to your back.

That's one thing I'd love to try!

I might release pain that I might not even realise I had.

If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it just to realign your back. You feel like a new person afterwards. Only go though if you have a stiff back or feel discomfort from time to time.

For sure! Find a good chiropractor and make sure to check there reviews. They can work some magic.

Still crazy how that happened

Sounds like a good day :). Have you done any research on stemcell therapy? I know someone who avoided back surgery with a broken back who completely healed. My other friend with virtually the same break was told surgery was the only option. Now he has loads of metal in his back and suffers chronic pain. Also there a specific yogas that can be very beneficial. SvaRoopa yoga is great for releasing spinal tensions and is as simple as lying or sitting certain ways. Just sharing some info & glad you are managing.

Yeah my trust for doctors is around 1% after everything i have learned and been through. I have unnecessary metal in my wrist and ankle just so the docs could get a fat paycheck. But the list goes on and on.

I love an aul hurtful massage. A friend of mine was getting a massage of a thai girl and he got a hard on . She asked him if he wanted a wank. He thought about it for a minute and then said " Go on then" . She said " OK , Il be back in 5 minutes when you are finished" Hhaa

That is worth a post lol
