CryptoFlix - Get Rewarded In Cryptocurrency For Watching Movies [Review]

INTRODUCTION

Watching movie has remained one of the most preferred recreational activities, but much more than that, it can serve other purposes - like educational, informative, and whatnot. If you are a movie fan, then you might have heard of, or used Netflix. I, for one, have streamed a couple of new movies there. CryptoFlix works on both the mobile and the desktop platforms, but just like other Ethereum-based platforms, it is advisable to install a metamask plugin, so as to sync your erc wallet with your CryptoFlix account - of course, that is where you will store you FLIX Tokens. To get started with CryptoFlix, you need to create an account in the CryptoFlix portal, of which you will be required to input you bio-details and you will follow the on-screen instructions to get started. After signing up, your default password will be sent to your email, but you will be required to update it to a password of your choice.

Another great feature with CryptoFlix is the fact that you can sign up as either a user or a partner. The partnership program is for movie producers and owners who want their movies to be featured on the platform, and in so doing, they will earn incentives in cryptocurrency, and also enjoy free exposure and visibility - that's another plus for CryptoFlix. Firstly, I will give a big kudos to CryptoFlix for bringing movie streaming to the blockchain, thereby making it more decentralized, and also for integrating incentives to movie streaming. However, there are places I hope they will update soon: While browsing through the portal, I noticed that the "documentaries" tab does not have any content at all, maybe they should add something to that tab instead of leaving it to lie fallow. Also, CryptoFlix can include downloadable subtitle tracks for their movies, so that it will be easier for people of different languages to follow. On the overall, I give CryptoFlix a 4/5 rating.
