Let me state this fact now, Dclick is a decentralized application (DApp) built on the Steem blockchain. Note that, in order to access Dclick via a web, you will need to install Steem Keychain (it is a plugin that allows you to use DApps built on the Steem blockchain) just the same way you can access Ethereum and EOS DApps using Metamask and Scatter plugin respectively.
In order to create an ad on dclick, you need to have an account on the steem blockchain in order to facilitate your login process.

Once you are connected on dclick, and have created an advert, you can always check your dashboard to monitor your advert progress and number of clicks generated.
Pros
• It is built on the STEEM ecosystem but not limited to its as you can secure clicks from other users other than steemians which will suffice as a valid click.
• Aside from the monumental feeling you have when promoting your advert, both content creators and advertisers are being paid in DClick tokens.
• Currently, measures are put in place to exchange DClick tokens for an upvote on the STEEM ecosystem. Also, since the token system was built to use the Smart Media Tokens (SMT's), once SMT is launched the tokens will be swiped.
• It is the first blockchain base advertisement platform to incentivize adverts.
• There is a tokenized economy system that favours both the advertisers and the creators.
Cons
• It is stereotype to the STEEM blockchain, once you do not have an account on the blockchain. You automatically cannot use their services.
• When compared to Papyrus a similar digital advertisement agent/firm in Singapore built on the Ethereum blockchain, Dclick.io is far from the goals of being a reputable advertising firm.
• There is no way to verify the click reference and lack of guarantee to secure even distribution of the advert.
Frankly, the adoption of the smart contracts by decentralized applications is gradually becoming a smart move itself. And Dclick is a great initiative and a platform to promote your business, goods and services to nothing less than over 500,000 users. I would advise if dclick.io can include a tab for non-steemians to promote their adverts thus indirectly promoting the chain and the dApp itself. I would rate this dApp a 3/5. Kudos to the team behind this concept.
