Welcome to another post in the top 2019 media dapps series. If you’ve been following my post, you’ll notice that my recent posts have been on this topic. This post is no exception, and it will focus on an awesome platform known as decentralize click popularly known as dclick.

As bloggers, one of the happiest moments in our lives occurs when we have a means of monetizing our contents. The search for content monetization has been on for a while, and only a few get to achieve it. With the high saturation and competition in different niches, it is difficult for a new blogger with a low visitor to earn. Most ads services only carter for established bloggers. Their minimum requirements are always outrageous. Most times, the ad agency requires a high amount of daily traffic before they can accept a site. The other means of advertising is having a direct link with advertisers. This is also a tedious task because it is difficult to strike a deal with these advertisers as a new blogger.
In other to tackle this issue, I am proud to introduce a steem blockchain based platform that can offer succour to bloggers. This platform is popularly known as dclick(decentralized click).
What is Dclick(decentralized click)?
I may define decentralized click as a steem based platform that connects advertisers with publishers(content creators). In a layman’s word, dclik is a platform that enables an advertiser to get his adverts on blogs. The owners of the blogs in which they place the advertisements also get paid.
A publisher is able to use is earnings once it is up to $2 dclick token. There are two available options. These options are:
- Get upvotes from the dclick steemit account
- Keep the coins for later use after the SMT launch.
Getting Started
* Log in with your steemit details using steemconnect.
It will redirect you to the homepage after a successful login.
Follow the steps below to monetize your contents.
- Click the three lines at the top right corner of the homepage.
- Click on monetize.
- Select the ‘Steempost’ option if you want to create the post on the platform or the ‘URL’ option if you want to use an already published post.
- Input the required information and hit the ‘post’ button.
Follow the following steps to advertise:
- Click the three lines at the top right corner of the homepage.
- Click on advertise.
- Select the advert type (media or text).
- Insert the other advert information.
- Choose your payment method and your budget.
- Click the ‘start’ option.
Follow the following steps to delegate:
- Click the three lines at the top right corner of the homepage.
- Click on delegate.
- Enter the amount of steem power and Hit the ‘Delegate’ button.
Features and components of dclick
This platform has some interesting features that are worth checking out. Below are some features of dclick.
Simple user interface
The site is easy to engage and navigate. The buttons are visible and well arranged. This is one of the few platforms with a straightforward interface.
Performance
The platform delivers its function without issues. The site speed is good enough for me. The buttons respond well and I am yet to experience any form of lagging or freezing.
Monetization
This feature enables users to earn from their content. I love the fact that a user can also use the URL of an already published post. This means more money for me.
Advertise
This feature enables users to promote their post, site, business and any other thing through links or banners.
Delegate
This feature enables users to delegate steem power to dclick account and earn up to 30% profit from the weekly leases. This means all the user has to do is to delegate and earn on a weekly basis.
Advantage of dclick
The main advantage of this platform is the ability of content creators to earn from the platform. This provides an added source of income to bloggers.
Disadvantage of dclick
The main disadvantage of this platform is the lack of another advert funding source apart from the steem currencies. Some advertisers will prefer to fund with fiat which is readily available.
Suggestion
The developers should include the ‘both’ option in the advertisement column. You can either promote a link advert or an image advert. Some advertisers might want to promote both at once and I believe it should allow them to do that.
Conclusion and Rating
Dclick is a nice platform with nice future prospects. I recommend it to any blogger who wants to earn extra cash.
It is a nice platform and I give it a rating of 4.8/5.
