DCLICK: An Incentivized Ad Platform on the Steem blockchain
The Dclick platform is the first dApp built on the STEEM blockchain that rewards it's users through providing ads services.
DCLICK is a project built with the intention of making better the relationship between Creators (Content Creators) and Advertisers. The Creators are given the opportunity to include advertisements in their contents, and also receive rewards based on the number of clicks on such contents. On DCLICK, Advertisers can promote their personal content on the DCLICK platform with almost no charge.
The Creators receive rewards according to the number of views of clips (impressions) and clicks of links from any blogs. While the producers are rewarded more compared to other platforms. DClicks platform allows advertisers to promote their product with almost no fee thanks to the creation of a native Token Economy. On Dclick, Creators can maximize their rewards by advertisements, while Advertisers can promote contents with little or no charge.
What this means is that you as a producer have been given the option to include ads to your post/content and earn from doing so. For instance, let's say I publish a relevant post about Real Estate, Dclick sorts for ads that are related to the content and adds it at the bottom of the post.
Using Dclick generates for a user Dclick tokens. Users of this platform can exchange the generated token gotten from utilizing Dclick for fiat or they can also exchange the tokens for upvotes, that's for users who hardly get upvoted, this should be really useful.
The Unique part of Dclick is that it does not need a member of the Steemit community to click on your ads for you be rewarded, as an advert service, it is a function of the number of clicks either from a Steemian or Non-Steemian.
HOW TO USE DCLICK
Firstly, you will need to visit dclick.io to open the page. As soon as you carry out the above instruction, the page above is what ushers you into the platform. The landing page looks really great, but the actual benefit lies beyond the landing page so we have to take some steps further. However, they really did a great job.
Next, just like every other platform, you are expected to Sign in, like every other dApp dclick still uses SteemConnect to log in. As usual, all you need do is to input therequired keys (posting, active or owner's key) and log in Dclick requires your Active or Owner's key.
You will be shown an overview of your account details, earnings, your recent activities and many other activities.
To make a post, you click on Monetize
The process of creating a post on Dclick is just like other posts you have been making on the Steemit platform before now, which comprises of a title, body and tags.
What you have to do is to, click on "SHOW AD". Then an ad is revealed to you at the end of the page on your right, it depends on the browser you are using though.
Just like other platforms like Dtube, busy and others, your created content is visible on the Steemit platform.
Note: When a user clicks on the ad at the end of your post, the Dclick token generated and it is paid into your wallet.
You cannot click on the ads on your page multiple times to create tokens. There is a bot that ensures that when clicks are generated from different sources it rewards the user, it won't work if you self click.
Meanwhile, there is a warning for abusive behaviour by users. If they figure out that you are self-clicking, you will be deprived of the right to place ads.
Overall, the site functions well, I think the idea of advertising and monetizing some spaces in my Steem posts are so cool and adds some spice to the already impressive monetizing scheme on Steemit.
Meanwhile, users can generate more tokens through their delegation to Dclick. The platform is still new and would need every support it can get from everyone here and outside the steem blockchain on the STEEM blockchain.
