Mclaren car launch

McLaren launched their new car for the Formula 1 season. This is their first car with a Renault motor and the main question is. Keeps the motor running with only 3 motors available so they won't get penalties. Hopefully, they will be able to join the top teams in the race to the championship.

Livery.
They chose for a livery they used 50 years ago in formula 1. The blue and orange car looks aggressive but a bit boring. It's a really nice blue but I think the dark orange is a bit ugly looking at the front

Copying RedBull.
The new car has a floorplate that leans to the front. That creates a downforce at the bag of the car and that means more grip at the bag of the car. This system is copied from RedBull who has used this system for a long time. It creates a vacuum that pulls the car down on the road. The car will get more grip without adjusting the rear wing and so it gives more grip without extra drag. They also are using a relatively long horizontally top just as Redbull vars has.

Overall the car looks really promising on downforce and it could be the car that gets Mclaren to top.
