I appreciate your comment, but I have to say that I don't like how things work on @Dtube at least for now. I don't like uploading them twice. It would be only to get the upvote. (I know it's brilliant to do that as some people say, but wrong is wrong) And that's not who I am.
I tried to do some videos only for Dtube which took me quite some time to record, and they didn't get recognized, and in my opinion, the curation system is a little broken because mostly the same people are getting rewarded. It doesn't matter how much effort they are putting into their videos and that's demotivating when it comes to creating content for this Dapp. I mean there aren't any special benefits to it. Your content can't get discovered, and the user experience is also a bit problematic, which makes it even worse. Also, only guys and older people are active at least for now. I can't think of any positive aspects at the moment (of course related to dtube) Do you?
Like I mentioned in another post when I was talking about random things on Dtube... where I am not putting much effort into it, I am getting upvotes (lol)... I recorded the video in 8minutes. I didn't even edit it lol, and I got 10 dollars (lol)
Mainly, I want to get rewarded for the things that I am creating, or at least I wish that my content can get discovered so that people can find it in the future and that they actually can use the things I'm showing correctly or learn how to do it... Most of the guys here have no idea how big the beauty industry is, and how woman think about it...
The main reason why I use share2steem is that it will share my Youtube link and I help to build up the account, and I even could get a few people to join only because of this Dapp! So I like to support them.
I totally understand where you come from and your point of view. But the reason I think it would still be important for Yourself, the platform and the community to have your videos uploaded in there it would be because we need more diverse type of content. We need more creators like yourself. More content that is not related with crypto. And only that way we also will be able to bring a different and bigger audience.
As I said I do get all the points you have referred but I feel it is a process and it is important to have people like you being part of the process to have your input and your point of view. I also believe that would be actually some audience that would love to have your videos there. I don't use makeup... And I spend hours (really don't ask me why lol) and hours watching Tati, Jeffree and James lollllloll

That's interesting do you mean that you are watching "Makeup Tutorials" because of the entertainment part?
I stopped watching them(James, Tati...not sure about Jeffree Star, he is indeed an artist!) because I was studying makeup at school and I thought that this would be the way on how you should apply your makeup in real life, but these people are only there to entertain which isn't a bad thing if you know it!
The problem is that teenagers think that this is the way they should apply it in real life as well, and they harm their skin, and they can't even get a job sometimes, etc. which does more harm than good.
I know it is not easy and sometimes can be annoying. But I guess we feel all this things are "unfair" because the community it is still pretty small.
I bet if you think about Youtube and some huge creators that became very popular and successful You will find a bunch that personally you also don't think they deserve the support they get... But we just don't think about it because there are so many others that we can go and follow instead.
Yeah I watch it for the entertainment. And honestly at least this 3 I have heard in many occasions giving good advice to "normal" makeup users. Reminding everyone that the looks they do and even the reviews are subject to their own skin type, bone face structure and so on so on. But I do get what you mean... 95% of Influencers sell a "lie" lol and that's their job... To sell this lifestyle. People need to educate themselves to understand that Youtube/Influencer creators is the new reality TV of our times and it is all pumped up for the audience entertainment 😉

Okay, I know what you mean. So why do we need Steemit, why do we need Dtube, etc.?
I thought it would be to change things and not to transfer the money from one rich person to another poor person so that this person will become rich and do the same again, just the opposite around.
Things aren't changing at the moment; different people will be in charge.
Do you know the website socialblade.com? I hate these people because they are buying followers, subscribers and the worst thing even comments. But that's not the biggest problem; the biggest problem is that they have no idea what they are talking about.(Probably it isn't obvious for the everyday person. Because "Rhianna's Makeup Artist does the makeup, or Kim Kardashian is showing... I think that it is a huge problem, especially for teenagers, people aren't educated...)
Also you can't launch a cream, makeup product in a few months; it takes years or decades to invent it. What these people are doing is creating dupes and selling them as "new innovative" products and ripping off customers; that's what I can't stand, and people do not get it. But yeah, you are right about that, but why are people watching it? Hm, or maybe Youtube is just the wrong platform, and it's like you said just for entertainment, and Dtube will be the same... We have to create LTube 😂
I know a couple of people on Youtube who know what they are talking about and that's Lisa Eldrige and Wayne Goss because they learned it, the funny thing as that they aren't getting as much attention.
I also noticed that all the "fake people" are coming from the US.
Again this makes me think if I should upload anything on Dtube in the future because I believe that you are right!
I general the Internet system is all fucked up to be honest.
It will take time to adapt and get better. 😒
But we can only try and do our part to help it make it better 😉
