MaxCoin Reboot! - MaxCoin is Back!
MaxCoin has been rebooted!
MaxCoin has recently been rebooted with a new developer being handed the keys to the project. He's been very active on Twitter and Bitcointalk, and has done a fantastic job updating the logo and the wallet UI.
The new Maxcoin website looks great as well. Lots of CSS eye candy as you would expect to see on any cryptocurrency website.
Maxcoin was a great project that got fucked up by Max Keiser's greed. He pumped this coin on his show(The Keiser Report) for months and then dumped it and walked away. Aside from that little tidbit though, Maxcoin was a great crypto that was the first to use Keccak algorithm(SHA 3) and Schnorr Signatures(something that Bitcoin Core Devs want to add to Bitcoin). It was UBER fast to transact, had ZERO transaction fees, and could be mined with CPUs or GPUs. I really liked it and hoped it would do well. That's why I was excited to see this reboot. I still have every Maxcoin I ever bought/mined. I never sold one in all these years just hoping it would get some attention again and fulfill it's potential.
I know there used to be a lot of Maxcoin fans out there, so I wanted to share this in case you are a fan and hadn't heard about the reboot. Hopefully one day we can use our Maxcoins to buy each other a beer!

Haven't heard of Maxcoin before, but will look deeper into it.
It was launched around 2014 after a big, BIG pump by Max Keiser, only to be dumped and left for dead by the very same. It had some noobish developers that, by dumb luck, actually made a decent coin. There is a new developer taking over the project and he's already made some nice improvements.
