Mauritius still one of the most favorite holiday destinations of French tourists

Mauritius, the small island nestled in the Indian ocean has been one of the favorite holiday destinations for French travelers. The sandy beaches and blue lagoons keep attracting French tourists on its soil.

when it comes to holidays, more than 6.3 million French people chose to spend theirs abroad, at least these were the figures recorded last year! indeed, according to the latest statistics from the Syndicate of French Tour Operating Companies, a growth of 7% has been reported for the year 2019 compared to that of 2018, when it comes to the number of French people who have been abroad for holidays.

For a warmer destination, most the French have chosen, the Dominican Republic, Mauritius, and the French West Indies to spend their holidays.

As a reminder, for the period of January to July, a rise of 4.1% of the number of French tourists who have set foot on the island has been noted.
