2x²=2y(P. Theory)
Gives x²=y
So
x²+x²x²=20
x=2
Surface of cube
S= 6*x²=6x4=24
You forgot to square the 10 (instead of 2x10) in the first line.

Your proportions are not correct. If X and X is the same size, the right side would have to be much shorter.
