Pythagorean Theorem - An Introduction

Today we will talk about the famous Pythagorean Theorem. Very important theorem in Euclidean Geometry and very important for the further study of trigonometry. 

Though there are many other evidences available confirming the use of the same relations by Indians and Chinese before Pythagoras proved the relationship but the theorem is named as Pythagoras proved it first of all.

This relationship is very important to do many math calculations and one of the basic building blocks of trigonometry. Students in grade 8 should know this relationship and how to find one missing side of a right angled triangle when other two are given.
