How Formulae Can Make Math Easier?

Yes if we know how to use formulae in mathematics then we can do math problems in algebra very easily. The beginner algebra formulae are the basic perfect square of a given binomial. This post is to explain how to apply perfect square formulae on simple binomials. Cool thing is that we can bypass FOIL here.

If you want some more examples on complex binomials then let me know in the comment section then I will post more example on the application of these formulae.

Till next time

Best of Luck

Ok, I dont get it and I think this is a question I wanted to ask about pure mathematics for some time; why do we need a complex formula to work out the simple formula? By complex what I mean is that the explanation has many more terms and takes more effort than the original expression.
Great post though, upvoted.

Thanks for your question scalextrix. Yes, if you have to solve only square of a single binomial then yes you can solve using foil or by distributive property of multiplication. That is till grade 7 or 8 math. But when a student enters math specialty courses in grade 11 and 12 the algebraic expressions become very complex and it becomes very time consuming to take three or steps to only simplify square of a binomial part of the given expression.
One the other hand students who mastered these formulae in grade 7 or 8 can easily solve such complex algebraic expressions very fast.
I tried to explain it in the example below,

If there is a method to solve the same problem in less than three steps other than using the formula please let me know; you know we always learn from each other.
