RE: I Don't Think They're Joking 🌀

I am just over 50 years old and I cannot believe how this country has changed from when I was a little kid.

I am glad she is not trying to hide their intentions. The scary thing is it seems to resonate with a lot of the young people that feel entitled to everything!

Sort:

It sure is something to witness over the years... The feeling of entitlement is certain, but what's most curious to me is that they claim it arises not from selfishness, envy, anger, gluttony, etc., but from the moral concerns supposedly caused by the inequalities of the world, and the fact that (however they feel like defining it today,) "the rich are greedy." They think it's righteous to take from the producers. They seem to think they are, and claim to be judges, while really they want to be thieves and executioners. G-d forbid their sense of entitlement should ever again make them really commit...

You actually have a good point here. I guess it is like a Robin Hood syndrome! The mentality plays out in the riots where stores are looted.

Scary stuff and I know it makes me sound old ( I am old but) but it seems to be most popular in these youngins these days...

They say they are Robin Hoods, but historically, they always keep the "stuff" for themselves and their friends...
