Stan Lee at MegaCon 2017

For those who don't know who Stan Lee is, well, the Marvel universe wouldn't exist without him. He is responsible for the creation of Marvel as well as creating or co-creating many of Marvel's most famous characters and comics and many minor characters as well. Stan Lee has been coming to MegaCon in Orlando for many years though I've only gone to see his panel the last couple of years. MegaCon 2017 in May was supposed to be his last Florida convention appearance but he also showed up at MegaCon Tampa in October to help raise money for Hurricane Irma victims.

I don't know how many more conventions he will appear at and this wasn't his first last Florida convention. He seems to enjoy doing it and I suspect he may keep going as long as his health allows. If he does come to a convention near you, I definitely recommend going to see his panel. You won't believe he is 94 years young and the opportunity to hear from the man who created Marvel doesn't come around every day.
