The idiotic concept of marriage
Has anyone actually stopped and wondered why people get married? I mean whats the idea?
I do speak to people occasionally about marriage but no one can give me a logical, decent and rational answer.
My first question to people is usually "why do/did you get married?" and the usual respond is "because I love my partner" which is then followed by me saying "so if you dont get married does that mean you dont love each other?"
Now thats just an example but shows how people do things out of repetition throughout generations, and when asked why the simple response is "well it's always been like this".
At it's core marriage is an ancient form of population control.
By limiting the amount of sexual partners you not only ensure the survival of children within the family but also limit the amount of offspring produced.
Historically slaves and later servants where not even allowed to get married and where taken out of the gene pool.
Large amounts of the population where put into monasteries and had to live their lives in celibacy. No marriage there either...
In modern times marriage as we know it will disappear eventually.
Social engineering has already succeeded in undermining the original concept and the destruction of old family values in in full fledge. It has lost it's purpose. Fertility rates decline, children will be raised by government institutions. Currently a marriage has only economic advantages, which will also vanish...

You're absolutely right about the family values being destroyed, you can actually witness it first hand and Hollywood has a big role in manipulating young generations perception about sex and marriage.
Brave new world is happening before our own eyes.
Yup. Hollywood's major role is social engineering, pushing ideas and normalizing violence, satanism, gender, you name it. Making money by doing it is a mere bonus.
