After The Introduction Ceremony
I was really happy the introduction ceremony was over and I forgot to add that the date for the wedding will be fixed on that day after the both families have come to a definite conclusion about the date.
After the event, my baby returned home with his family while I stayed back at home as well with my family, I was not yet his wife legally so I am not supposed to go home with him until the actual date.
I also forgot to add that the list for the engagement was given on that day as a matter of tradition, my family (as the bride) will request for whatever they want from the groom's family, this will serve as a sign that their daughter has worth and the family is not just going to send her away like that without a price tag attached, if the list is too much, the man can plea with the family of the man to help reduce some things, the parents of the bride may decide to agree or not depending on their background.
My family did not demand for too much and even if they had, my baby was capable but then my dad is a type of man who believes in the fact that he is not selling out his daughter so that no one will be able to talk to him any how with the claims that he had sold out his daughter.
The things required by my family were normal customary requirements and we had to start preparing for the engagement ceremony as well as the church wedding.
