From Horror To Hero.
It was a relief for Chelsea yesterday when they didn't lose but snatched a draw. That sounds annoying, right? Chelsea of course, started the match with the intention of winning it but with the turn up of Leicester towards the end of the match, you can understand how they would be relieved they didn't lose.
Chelsea started brightly and they were in dream land when Mount challenged Ndidi and won the tussle at the edge of the box. Mount danced his way through and managed to hit his ball into the back of the net. The young lad would be happy to have scored on his home debut and opened Chelsea's league account after the embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Manchester United.
Chelsea did all they could to increase the scoreline margin but Leicester held on. The first half ended that way and we saw another Leicester in the second half. Leicester did everything right except wasting of so many chances. They should have convincingly won Chelsea in the second half with as many goal margin as possible but they lacked that bite - that end product. Chelsea would be happy not to have conceded from those chances.
Leicester won't be denied for too long as Ndidi came to the rescue with a thumbing header from a brilliant Maddison's cross. What a relief for the Nigerian after his mistake allowed Chelsea to score in the first place.
Leicester did everything to win the match but they couldn't get that end product and Chelsea would feel more pressure as they have only gotten a point in two games even though it is too early in the season to draw any meaningful conclusions.
We are up for so many surprises this season and I am ready for them. I hope United will beat Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight as we couldn't do that thrice last season against Wolves.
