Update on Hemp food and CBD products in Colorado

Hi, everyone:

We at Growhempcolorado.com have been trying to convey and inform the Industry and the Community about the ongoing matter regarding the effective ban on food and goods imposed by the CDPHE at our event last month in Lafayette, CO. 

We sought to bring together those most involved in the process and begin a dialogue to better understand the situation and how to best approach it; we, however, feel it is in the best interest of not just farmers and growers but also the general public to also be involved in this process. So, we decided to create some informative posts here on the steem platform to reach out to all those who feel the same. 

I want to begin by saying that this is a complex problem, and cannot over emphasize the reach that this has on not just how the Industry will develop, but the accessibility of these goods to those who need it most (look at my post history as I alluded to it there). 

GHC has created a time-line of the events as they occurred in Colorado in which we sought to clarify this matter for the benefit of the Industry and Community, which ultimately led to the emergency meeting last month; within this interactive document you will find the relevant documentation with various government agencies beginning in fall of 2015, along with ever-changing position on this matter. 

Once again, we'd like to hear your feedback and your thoughts to better refine the narrative with which we sincerely believe is vital in finding a working solution toward this matter. We look forward to hearing what your thoughts are and any feedback you'd like to share.
