I'd be interested in hearing about traffic acquisition .... Finding a product is easy. There's plenty of market place sites and affiliate networks around. Building a free or "cheap" site and landing page is easy with one of the big blog platforms (wordpress, weebly, wix etc..) and CC integration is available if you wanna deal with SSL's...The real question is how do you get traffic? Paid, free, social????
Content marketing is more effective for a product or service you own directly, rather than selling things as an affiliate. But I guess many of the principles will apply.

This is true. I had great success selling trailers (cargo, utility, construction types) and not so much with affiliate marketing.???
