Man that's a boat load of places to publish and I imagine the list could get longer as more and more creators of blockchains take after Steemit and produce social media as a proof-of-concept. I keep running across them frequently.
Other than the big ones I was only familiar with ezinearticles. Can you tell me which of the above are:
- There primarily to provide content creators with backlinks as opposed to a place where people genuinely go to for information, and
- Which of the above do not require the content to be published with them only?

Yes, it is a long list. All of these are great places to publish articles. They will all provide a great backlink. Unfortunately, I can't be much more specific because all of the places have different rules. I recommend creating accounts on as many as possible and then writing one article that you spin to make sure they are all slightly different. Here is an article describing the process.
