Well this is going to be the most random Market Friday EVAR! Starting with the fact that it is no longer Friday and I am sure it will deteriorate from there lol. I know the always enrapturing @dswigle can be a bit of a stickler, so she will most likely flag me for being a bit tardy, but I hope that if I post the link on her post like a good Steemer, I may be ok lol.
So I may have shown a few of these pics as a teaser before, but let's start of this multi-state Market Friday with breakfast at Momma's. Yep Momma's Country Kitchen around Mars Hills in North Carolina!
Momma's is the kind of eclectic and so not a chain place that I love to try. Of course Momma does it all. She seats you, takes your order, cooks it and servers it!
One of the treats is REAL country ham. For those that have never had the stroke inducing, way over salty yet divine wonders that is country ham, you really should try some. Your taste buds will be doing cartwheels, guaranteed!
Momma's may not be all big time and showy, but she does give free wifi even if she uses a pad for your bill!
No frills just good food is a theme throughout at Momma's and is not spared in the restroom lol!
Now, back to the Great Lakes State!
Got to love how handy a local Ace is.
Well when I got back to Michigan, I had a load of chores just waiting on me!
Yep the joys of home maintenance!
I think I need to live on vacation!

Well I think I should get a treat for all of this hard work!
For such a little stand it has always done a good business for over 30 years that I know of.
For $4.50, you get 13 ears. Not the cheapest maybe, but always so sweet!

Yes!! You got to eat my kind of food. Country ham is good. We have a place near where I live that has great country ham and biscuits and gravy. Nothing better than stick to your ribs biscuits and gravy. Mom and pop southern restaurants are the best.
