Today for #marketfriday hosted by @dswigle, we will be visiting Modern Mouse in California. Do you like Etsy? Well, Modern Mouse is like a real life Etsy, that you can walk into. Its filled with hand-made trinkets, DIY Kits, sewn goods, crochet goods, mini notebooks, prints, handmade snail mail supplies. etc etc etc.
I left the pictures unedited, so that you can zoom in and fill yourself with the sense of: "I can make that!" I think that all the time. Maybe one day I'll make my own personal "Pinterest Fails" blog post. But I'll name it "Modern Mouse Fails." HAHAH
Here we have a cute little crochet cactus in a little vase. It was the first "ahhhhh" of the visit."
I was stuck at this one for a while. Is this a cute representation of something cruel? Is it simply interesting. What is going on here? There were also rhino's and elephants. Perhaps the artist is just bringing attention to a cruel act? Maybe its just a thing they made just because.
If you are a pin collector, then have some fun zooming in. The one that made me chuckle was the one that told me to go eat soup. (LOL)

And the best part of all? They have a kid corner filled with crayons and little toys for the kids to stay busy while you're shopping AND when you're ready to leave they give the kids tokens so they can get on the "rides."

Love the cactus, I tried making the guitars with the kids last year... Didn't turn out anything like the picture, but the kids still loved it. 😅
