Walking Through Town
We take a moment today to see through the city of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. I, however, share with my readers today a place here in Kumasi where l passed. It looks so sunny and the view is amazing beautiful. Most people prefer the weather to look this way most times as it doesn't look really hot. It is actually a market area where people sell and buy.
I can see from a distance some dresses that are hanged and been sold. They are dresses made from our local prints. Some are made from kente to do bags, purse, sandals and much other wear. These dresses do not really look so expensive. A lot of people buy our locally made materials like these for its beauty and culture. I am sharing this with steemians on #marketfriday which is the initiative of @dswigle. Other ornaments are found here for everyone.
The weekend is here already and l wish everyone a happy one.
Oh, I do love when you share your local markets with us and it is interesting to see the different levels of fabric and merchandise offered.
Thing to see how very crowded it is and unlike some of the small villages oh, it looks like there is plenty of parking but there are many people gathered. It's always wonderful to go through town with you and to experience your Market.
